These custom-branded Financial Calculator Suites are designed for and tested to run on the following version of Microsoft's Windows®-based operating systems: 95, 98, NT4, ME, 2000, XP Home Pro, and Vista computers.

Is it secure
This is the most important question asked on this page.
A bank-branded Financial Calculator Suite offers no access to any customer account information. Nor does the software offer a customer the opportunity to enter customer account information. The software stands alone on the user's computer. Other than launching the customer's web browser when your bank's URL is clicked in the software, Financial Calculator Suite does not interact in any way with online banking services. It is simply a graphically branded, Windows®-based suite of financial calculators. The compiled executable is code-signed and the software installer is code-signed. MD5 checksum values are calculated and provided to you with the installation executable so that, at any time, your bank's staff can ensure the software has not been changed.

How do I order a branded calculator for my bank?
To initiate the development process, you will need to provide:
- Art work you wish to display in the application (if the graphics are already on a web site, you may simply provide the URL to the page(s) containing the graphics and identify them so that they can be downloaded for use in your calculator).
- The internet URL(s) you wish to provide within the loan calculator.
- The email address(es) you wish to provide those who use your loan calculator.
- Text for your welcome message which will be displayed during the installation process.
- A check or money order in the amount of 50% of the license fee made payable to Wheatworks Software, LLC for the initial payment.

How much does a branded calculator cost?

Is there an annual license fee?
No! The software license provides for unlimited, royalty free distribution by any method that works for you. "Royalty free" means that the initial license fee is your only cost for the software. There are no annual fees and no royalty fees based upon the quantity distributed! The more copies you distribute the less each copy effectively costs you!

How will you know what I want it to look like?
Most branded software is based upon a company's corporate graphics. The initial proof version is typically designed with an eye toward incorporating your corporate graphics to reflect your company's graphic style.

How do I give feedback about my bank's calculator during development?
While your branded loan calculator is being developed, you will be consulted regarding design issues as they arise. In fact, the entire development process is a continuous conversation.
The development process begins with the creation of an initial proof version which will be delivered to you as an email attachment or offered as a download from our server. You'll be asked to spend some time with the proof and decide how it might be modified to better fit your firm's idea of what you want. Once you have formulated your feedback, you will send it and the requested changes will be implemented if possible. Then another proof will be sent incorporating the feedback. This proof-review-proof-review process may continue until the application is as you wish it to be for distribution.

How and when do I pay the license fee?
The license fee is paid in two portions of 50% each. The first payment of 50% is due upon initiation of the development process. The second payment of 50% is due after you have accepted the final proof (which becomes the release version upon your acceptance).

How may I distribute my bank's calculator?
If it's legal, you can do it! Our clients distribute their branded calculators as downloads from their web sites. Many also distribute their calculators on CD-ROMs. They have been distributed in books, as email attachments, by direct mail, from teller's desks, at open houses ... you get the idea.
Because these applications are designed to promote your bank, we want you to distribute it to as many current and potential customers as possible ... any way you can!

Can I install my branded calculator on my bank's web site?
Yes, if by "install" you mean to offer it as a download. However, the calculators suites are not designed to be run from a web server. If you wish to install calculators on your web site for your visitors to use online, we invite you to check out our line of MoneyToys™ financial calculators.

Is there an "end user license" for people who use my branded software?
Yes. Read the End User License Agreement ("EULA") by clicking here: End User License Agreement.
In order to install the branded calculator recipients of your branded software must accept the End User License Agreement ("EULA") during the installation process.

Will my custom loan calculator be a web site?
No. Your company's branded loan calculator will be Windows®-based software. It will run on a computer just like any other installed software and does not require a web browser or access to your web site.

How will people install my bank's marketing software?
Installation is easy. The software is delivered as a single file named Setup.exe. Users install this file in the same way most software is installed, by double-clicking it. The installation procedure displays your welcome message followed by the EULA which the person must accept before installation can occur. An installation wizard guides users efficiently and safely through the installation process.

Will my branded software contain any advertising for other companies?
No! The software customized with your graphics and information is designed to promote you. It will contain no advertising for other companies. In order to comply with copyright laws, there will be two small notices that the software is copyright Wheatworks Software, LLC. These in no way interfere or detract from the presentation of your brand.

Are there hyperlinks in the software to web sites of other companies?
No! The software will contain hyperlinks only to your web site and internet resources.
